The PinPoint Focus Assist takes the guesswork out of focusing in low light. It helps photographers instantly highlight their focus point. Focus hunt in low light is one of the biggest issues for all photographers. Have you ever been outside at dusk and missed the shot because your camera kept whirring, not knowing where to focus in the low light, or it focused on an object in front of the subject you wanted? Or maybe you were inside at a wedding reception, but couldn't get the detailed beading on the wedding dress because your camera lens was unable to focus. You may have also wanted a shot of a hawk in front of a dim, dark background, and not been able to lock in on it. PinPoint is extremely easy-to-use. When you are ready to take the photo, simply press the On/Off button and PinPoint emits a narrow green light beam. The camera's auto-focus then quickly zeroes in on the light to acquire focus. If you are focusing manually, just focus on the pinpoint of light. You manually control the length of time the light is visible. The simple universal mount fits DSLR or point-and-shoot cameras. It easily secures to the tripod mount on your camera body or battery pack, the tripod collar of larger lenses, or tripod quick release plates.
